Prototype : S/S BOXHOLM II is one of the last steamship in Sweden with a wood-burning steamengine. She was built in 1904 at Ljunggrens Mek Verkstad AB in Kristianstad as a tug to tow barges and timber on duty for Boxholm AB.
Since 1966 she has only been used to carry passengers.
S/S Boxholm II frequents lake Sommen in southern Sweden.

Data about the Prototype : Steel hull. Loa: 20.3 m, beam: 4.75 m, displacement: 37 tons, engine: 85 hpr compound, boiler of Scottish type, steam pressure: 7.5 kg, propeller revolutions 160-180, max speed: 9-10 knots, crew 3 men, registrated for 100 passengers. Both engine and boiler are original.
