Functions : At present the model has 26 working functions: among others bow thruster, 3 motors, modul for switching between 3 and 2 motors operations, (all with electronic speed-controllers), rudder, 2 fire monitors dirigibled in two planes, turnabled fire-man on deck, tow hook, system for connecting and releasing a tow line, stern flap which folds up and down, winch-system for launching and recovering the daughter boat, Steppke, by radio, turnabled searchlight on deck, dieselsound generator, foghorn, radar and 35 various lamps on deckhouse and mast.
The daughter boat "STEPPKE" has electric motor with electronic speed-controller, rudder, capture-hook, navigationlamps and serchlicht.

Prototype : BERLIN is a modern German emergency cruiser built for the German Society DGzRS and is based in Kiel/Laboe. Workingplaces are the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Length 27.5 m, beam 6,5 m and top speed 24 knots.
The daughter boat Steppke has a length of 7.5 m, beam 2.5 m and top speed 15 knots.
